Storage between homes

Storage between homes — moving out before you can move in?

Lease ends this month, keys arrive next quarter. VaultFlow's own crew collects your furniture on moving-out day, stores it for however long the gap runs, and delivers everything to your new address when you're ready.

Where do you store furniture between homes?

Valet storage bridges the gap: a moving crew collects everything from your old place, holds it in a warehouse for weeks or months, then delivers it to the new address. One provider, both directions — instead of hiring a lorry twice and hunting for a self-storage unit in between.

The gap between homes is rarely your choice: a BTO that isn't ready, an en bloc timeline, selling before buying, or a lease that ends before the next one starts. Storage runs month to month, so it stretches or shrinks with your actual dates rather than the ones on paper.

How it works around your move

Before moving day

Send us photos of what's going into storage, or book a site visit for a full home. We quote it, agree a collection date, and you keep packing. Cartons and a packing service can be built into the quote.

Moving-out day

Our movers wrap the furniture and photograph everything before it leaves. If our parent company Reddot Movers is handling your move, the storage portion and the move are coordinated as one job — nothing gets shuttled between vendors.

During the gap

Your items sit at our Yishun warehouse, with the collection photos viewable from your dashboard. If you think you'll need something out mid-way — winter clothes, documents, the coffee machine — tell us when we quote and we'll plan for it.

Keys in hand

Book your delivery date. The same crew brings everything to the new address and places it where you want it. If the handover slips, storage simply continues month to month until it doesn't.

Which plan fits a move?

Storing a whole home between addresses is more volume than a fixed-size vault holds, so full-home gaps are quoted as a Custom plan — sized to your actual furniture, stored as one lot.

Custom plan Full homes

Everything from the old place. Quoted from photos or a site visit, priced by volume, collection and delivery built into one figure.

Vault plans

Storing only part of it — moving into a smaller interim place and parking the rest? Fixed monthly plans with published dimensions on the pricing page.

Not sure which? Send a few photos on WhatsApp and we'll tell you.

What's different about VaultFlow

  • Your rate doesn't move. Locked for the term you choose, without paying it upfront. Any increase after that is capped and disclosed in advance.
  • Every fee is published. Stair carry, long carry, disassembly, fragile handling: all on the pricing page before you book, not on an invoice afterwards.
  • Our crew, both directions. The people who collect your items are the same team that brings them back. No third-party handoffs.
  • You can see what you stored. Photos taken at collection and viewable from your dashboard throughout.

Between-homes storage questions

How long can I store for?

Any length. Storage runs month to month, so a two-week gap and a nine-month BTO wait work the same way — you book the delivery when your new place is actually ready.

What if my new home is delayed?

Nothing to renegotiate. Storage continues month to month at your agreed rate until you book the delivery.

Can you also handle the move itself?

Yes — VaultFlow is run by the team behind Reddot Movers. If you need a full home move with storage in the middle, the whole thing is coordinated as one job with one crew.

Can I get something out during the gap?

For fixed Vault plans, access visits and single-item retrieval are bookable with one day's notice. Full-home Custom plans are stored as a lot, so access is agreed when we quote — flag it upfront and we'll pack accordingly, with the things you might need kept reachable.

Lock in your dates, not your worries.

Send us photos of what's going into storage and your rough dates — we'll quote the gap.
