Storage while overseas

Storage while you're overseas — your things can stay in Singapore.

Overseas posting, a few years abroad, or a family relocation — giving up the flat doesn't have to mean selling everything in it. VaultFlow collects your belongings before you fly, stores them for the duration, and delivers them back when you return.

Where do you store belongings while living overseas?

Valet storage is built for exactly this: a crew collects everything from your home before you leave, stores it in a local warehouse for the years you're away, and delivers it back on your return. You never need to be in Singapore mid-way to manage it.

The trap with long-term storage is rate creep — a price that looks reasonable in year one and isn't by year three. VaultFlow locks your rate for the term you choose without asking for it upfront, and any increase after the term is capped and disclosed in advance. For a multi-year posting, that's the difference that compounds.

How it works around your departure

Before you fly

Send photos of what's staying, or book a site visit for a full home. We quote it and agree a collection date that works with your handover — before the flat is returned, not after.

Collection day

Our own movers wrap the furniture and photograph everything before it leaves. Disassembly for wardrobes and bed frames is handled on the day, at rates published on the pricing page.

While you're away

Your items sit at our Yishun warehouse, and the collection photos stay viewable from your dashboard — so three years and eight time zones later, you can still see exactly what you own and where it is.

When you're back

Book your delivery once you've landed a new address. The same company that collected your things brings them to your new home — even if that's a different flat, in a different part of the island, years later.

Which plan fits an overseas stint?

A whole household is more than a fixed-size vault, so most overseas moves are quoted as a Custom plan — priced by volume and stored as one lot for the duration.

Vault plans

Keeping only the essentials — books, keepsakes, one room's worth? Fixed monthly plans with published dimensions on the pricing page. Longer commitments carry move-in benefits, listed there too.

Not sure how much you're keeping? Send photos on WhatsApp and we'll size it.

What's different about VaultFlow

  • Your rate doesn't move. Locked for the term you choose, without paying it upfront. Any increase after that is capped and disclosed in advance.
  • Every fee is published. Stair carry, long carry, disassembly, fragile handling: all on the pricing page before you book, not on an invoice afterwards.
  • Our crew, both directions. The people who collect your items are the same team that brings them back. No third-party handoffs.
  • You can see what you stored. Photos taken at collection and viewable from your dashboard throughout.

Overseas storage questions

Is there a minimum or maximum period?

Storage runs month to month for as long as you need — a six-month secondment or a five-year posting both work. Committed terms carry benefits, published on the pricing page.

How do I know my things are okay while I'm abroad?

Everything is photographed at collection and the photos stay viewable from your dashboard. You're not relying on memory or a paper inventory from years ago.

Is the warehouse air-conditioned?

Storage is ambient, in an enclosed warehouse. Furniture is wrapped by our crew at collection, and we'll advise on preparing items — leather, wood, electronics — for longer storage in Singapore's climate.

What happens when I move back?

Message us once you have a new address and book a delivery date. Our crew delivers and places everything — you're unpacking boxes, not hiring movers from another time zone.

Fly out light. Come back to everything.

Send us photos and your departure date — we'll quote the years in between.
